They are intended for all journalists, editors, contributors, and community members who create or interact with content on ENS Live.

1. Purpose

ENS Live is committed to publishing content that is:

  • Accurate

  • Purposeful

  • Respectful

  • Trustworthy

These editorial guidelines provide a clear framework to help maintain high-quality standards across everything we publish. By following them, we ensure that:

  • Users receive reliable, well-sourced information

  • Our reporting remains fair and neutral

  • The integrity and credibility of ENS Live are protected

2. Core Principles

2.1 Accuracy & Verification

Accuracy is our highest priority.

  • All information must be fact-checked before publication.

  • Use trusted data sources, including:

  • Official APIs

  • Public and verified RSS feeds

  • Verified reports

  • Government or institutional publications

  • Editors and contributors must:

  • Confirm the credibility of each source

  • Cross-check key facts with more than one reliable source where possible

  • Avoid speculation and unverified claims

If information cannot be verified, it should either be excluded or clearly labeled as unconfirmed, with context.

2.2 Transparency

Readers must always understand where information comes from and whether any commercial interests are involved.

  • Every article or post should clearly indicate its sources where relevant.

  • Sponsored, affiliate, or paid content must be:

  • Explicitly labeled (e.g., “Sponsored,” “Paid Partnership,” or “Contains Affiliate Links”)

  • Clearly distinguishable from independent editorial content

Transparency helps users evaluate the information and trust our platform.

2.3 Attribution & Sourcing

ENS Live respects the work of other publishers and creators.

  • All third-party content must be properly cited and attributed.

  • Recognized trusted sources include (but are not limited to):

  • Newsdata.io

  • Public RSS feeds

  • GSMArena.com

  • Government and institutional portals

  • ENS Original Content (ENS Live)

When using third-party material:

  • Attribute the source clearly (e.g., “According to [Source]…”)

  • Provide links to original content where appropriate and permitted

  • Do not misrepresent or selectively quote sources in a way that changes their meaning

2.4 Impartiality

ENS Live maintains neutrality in all reporting.

  • Content must be presented without bias, personal opinion, or favoritism.

  • News coverage should:

  • Represent relevant sides of an issue fairly

  • Avoid promoting specific political, commercial, or personal agendas

  • Opinion or analysis pieces (if published) must be:

  • Clearly labeled as such

  • Based on facts and evidence, not personal attacks

2.5 Respectful Language

ENS Live prioritizes respect for all communities and audiences.

Content must not include:

  • Hate speech or slurs

  • Discriminatory language based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic

  • Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse

  • Incitement to violence or threats

When covering sensitive topics:

  • Use precise, neutral, and respectful terms

  • Avoid sensationalism and dehumanizing language

  • Consider the potential impact on affected individuals and communities

  • Include a timestamp and a brief explanation of what changed (e.g., “Updated on [date] to correct [detail].”)

  • Minor edits (such as spelling or formatting) may be made without a formal note, unless they affect meaning.

We maintain a transparent record of important amendments to protect our credibility and help users understand the evolution of a story.
