Securing Your ENS Advertiser Center Account with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Your security is a top priority in the ENS Advertiser Center and across the broader ENS ecosystem. To protect you from scams, phishing attacks, malware, and unauthorized access, ENS uses multiple security layers, including:
Username and password
Email and password
Email + One-Time Password (OTP)
Email + phone number + OTP + password
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Session monitoring and activity protection
These measures work together to safeguard your accounts, campaigns, and data. Among them, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is one of the most effective ways to protect your ENS Advertiser Center account.
Why Extra Security Is Important
Relying only on a password is no longer enough. Accounts can be compromised through:
Phishing links
Password leaks from other websites
Malware or spyware
Guessable or reused passwords
Social engineering scams
Even a strong, unique password can be exposed without your knowledge. 2FA reduces this risk by requiring an additional verification step that only you can generate on a trusted mobile device.
This is especially important for advertisers who manage:
Campaign settings and creatives
Billing and payments
Analytics and performance data
Sensitive account information
What Is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
Two-Factor Authentication adds a second step to your login process. To sign in, you need:
Something you know: Your password
Something you have: Your mobile device with an authenticator app
The authenticator app generates a new 6-digit code every 30 seconds. You must enter this code along with your password to access your account—even if someone else knows your password.
How to Enable 2FA on Your ENS Advertiser Center Account
Follow the steps below to set up 2FA.
Step 1 — Install an Authenticator App
First, install an authenticator app on your mobile device. ENS supports standard Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) apps, such as:
Google Authenticator (Android / iPhone)
Microsoft Authenticator
Authy
These apps:
Work offline (no internet connection required to generate codes)
Continuously generate time-based 6-digit codes
Can store multiple accounts if you use 2FA on other services
Tip: Make sure you secure your phone with a PIN, password, or biometric lock, since it will be used to generate your login codes.
Step 2 — Access 2FA Settings in ENS
Open your browser and go to:
https://ads.enslive.liveLog in to your ENS Advertiser Center account.
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
From the menu, select Security.
Click on Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
On this page, ENS will display:
A QR code for quick setup
An OTP secret key (a text code you can enter manually)
Six unique backup codes for emergency access
Step 3 — Connect the Authenticator App
Next, link your ENS account to your authenticator app.
Open your chosen authenticator app on your phone.
Add a new account by:
Scanning the QR code shown on the ENS 2FA setup page, or
Manually entering the OTP secret key if your camera is unavailable or scanning fails.
Once added, the app will immediately start generating 6-digit codes for your ENS account.
If you enter the secret key manually, double-check that you type it exactly as shown (including capitalization and spacing, if any).
Step 4 — Save the Backup Codes (Very Important)
ENS provides six backup codes during setup. These are critical for regaining access if you:
Lose your phone
Delete or reset the authenticator app
Change or upgrade your device
Cannot access your authenticator for any reason
Important details about backup codes:
They are shown only once during setup.
They cannot be retrieved later from your account.
Each code can typically be used one time.
Store them in a safe, separate location, such as:
A secure password manager
An encrypted file
A printed copy stored in a safe place
Do not store backup codes on the same phone that runs your authenticator app. If you lose that device, you lose both your codes and your authenticator.
Step 5 — Verify and Activate 2FA
To complete the setup:
On the ENS 2FA setup page, locate the verification field.
Open your authenticator app and find the 6-digit code for your ENS account.
Enter the current 6-digit code into the verification field.
Submit the code.
If the code is correct and valid, Two-Factor Authentication will be activated for your ENS Advertiser Center account.
What Happens After 2FA Is Enabled?
Once 2FA is turned on, your login process changes slightly:
Go to
https://ads.enslive.liveand enter your email/username and password as usual. You will then be prompted to enter a 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
Open the app, find the ENS entry, and type in the current code.
Access to your account is not possible without this second factor, even if someone has your correct password.
In certain cases (for example, new devices or suspicious activity), ENS may also:
Require 2FA more frequently
Monitor sessions and log out unusual or inactive sessions
Prompt you to review recent account activity
These measures further protect your account from unauthorized access.
Key Benefits of Using 2FA on ENS
Enabling 2FA provides several important advantages:
Prevents unauthorized access
Even if your password is stolen, attackers cannot log in without your 6-digit code.Protects campaigns and payments
Your ad campaigns, budgets, and billing details are shielded from tampering.Mitigates password leaks and phishing
Password-only attacks are far less effective when a second factor is required.Adds a strong extra layer of ENS security
2FA works alongside ENS’s other protections, such as session monitoring and activity checks.Works without an internet connection
Authenticator apps generate codes offline, so you can log in securely even without mobile data or Wi‑Fi.
Summary
By enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your ENS Advertiser Center account, you:
Combine your password with a time-based code from your mobile device
Greatly reduce the risk of unauthorized access
Protect your campaigns, payments, and sensitive data
Benefit from one of the strongest security features available in the ENS ecosystem
For the best protection, set up 2FA, store your backup codes securely, and keep your authenticator app and device safe.
